Marie Family Photos 12-31-23

I had a great time taking photos of this wonderful family. Jontea is an old co-worker of mine and we kept in touch. She is an intelligent woman and an amazing mother. Her kids are funny, dorky, a riot to be around, just as kids should be. The kids have good heads on their shoulders and that has to be attributed to Jontea.

I told her that I was wanting to get into more portraiture work and I would be willing to do a photoshoot with her family. Her mother, her sister, her and the two kids were there and it was a great time, besides the fact that the temperature had dropped (the blanket came in handy for sure!) My favorite part of the shoot was that I was able to capture their personalities, even though it was freezing. My favorite was of Jontea’s mother. She asked if she could do some photos of her kids and her grandkids kissing her on the cheek, to which I obviously said yes, and i’m glad I did. Her eyes and smile lit up and you could tell how much she loved her family.
