Surprise Proposal 05-18-18
It goes without saying that every proposal is a bit of a surprise. Even if the other person knows you are going to propose at some time, they never really know when. My friend, he let me know that this was going on a few days prior to the proposal and the day of, he was getting some last-minute things done, like someone coming in with the flowers, and another person coming with the balloons, and other people just being there for the surprise—which is very much like my friend. He makes a plan, but there are always last-minute things getting done. By luck or design, everything just seems to fall in place.
A very fun shoot to do. I had also gotten a 50mm lens which threw me for a loop as this was the first time I had used a prime lens and I had to physically move myself to compose the shot as opposed to relying on the zoom. With my vast inexperience with photography at the time, I relied purely on instinct and these are the results.
